Outdoor Learning Days (OLE)
What are OLE days?
Each half term your child's year group will take part in an Outdoor Learning Day. This day provides a specialised learning approach that offers children regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a natural environment.
Will my child be taking part in OLE days?
Reception Classes - children take part regularly in 'Welly Wednesdays' and 'Discover and Do' outdoor sessions (a pair of named wellies is required to keep in school).
For children in Years 1 to 6 please refer to the most recent Fridge Flyer for dates that your childs year group will have their Outdoor Learning Day.
What should my child wear?
Uniform is not required on an OLE day. Please send your child in clothing appropriate for the weather conditions i.e coat and wellies. We suggest old clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
